PayByPhone promotes UK managing director
PayByPhone, a global mobile parking payments provider, has promoted Rebecca Maisey to UK managing director as the business looks to accelerate its market strategy and strengthen its leadership team.
Rebecca takes on the role after serving as UK commercial director and brings 15 years’ experience with the company.
She joined PayByPhone in 2011 as a client account executive and has progressed through a series of senior leadership positions, including head of client management, senior client director and commercial director.
In her new role, Rebecca will assume responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the UK business, overseeing the continued expansion of PayByPhone’s digital payment ecosystem, including parking, EV charging and fuel finder services.
She will also work closely with local authorities and private operators as they navigate evolving transport and infrastructure frameworks.
Her appointment also marks the return of the UK managing director position to PayByPhone’s organisational structure as the company continues to invest in its UK operations.
Rebecca’s contribution to the parking sector has been recognised through the British Parking Association’s inaugural Inspirational Woman in Parking award.
Her promotion also reflects PayByPhone’s commitment to developing internal talent while supporting the continued growth of its UK business.
Rebecca said: “I am absolutely thrilled to take on the role of UK managing director at such a pivotal time for our business and the wider parking sector.
“As the UK parking landscape continues to evolve, my priorities are clear: accelerating PayByPhone’s growth under Lightyear Capital’s stewardship, deepening our client partnerships, and ensuring PayByPhone remains the app of choice for both motorists and parking operators.
“Having been part of PayByPhone’s journey since its early days in the UK, I have seen first-hand how our technology simplifies journeys for drivers and been proud to play my part in that growth.”
