SocialChain appoints creative director
Integrated social agency SocialChain, headquartered in Manchester and with offices in London and New York, has appointed Tom Fenwick-Smith as executive creative director, strengthening its creative leadership as the business enters its next phase of growth.
Tom joins from VodafoneThree, where he was senior conceptual creative and strategy social lead.
During his five years with the business, he played a key role in expanding Three Mobile’s social media presence, helping establish it as one of the UK’s most engaged telecommunications brands across social platforms.
In his new role, Tom will lead the creative teams across SocialChain and sister agency Engage Digital Partners, reporting to chief executive Jacinta Faul.
He will be responsible for driving the agencies’ creative vision, developing talent and delivering campaigns designed to resonate across culture, communities and digital platforms.
Tom said: “I’m joining SocialChain because I believe the future of creativity belongs to teams that understand people, culture and platforms equally well.
“My role is to help elevate the creative ambition of the agency, develop world-class talent and create work that earns attention rather than simply buying it.
