Property firm backs regional skills programme
A national property consultancy is continuing its support for young people by joining a regional programme designed to improve employability skills and highlight career opportunities.
Newcastle-headquartered Bradley Hall will take part in the 2026/27 Building My Skills programme, delivering careers workshops for secondary school students across the North East and Tees Valley.
The initiative, led by Bowburn-based Esh Group in partnership with the North East Chamber of Commerce and BusinessIQ, will connect up to 100 schools with employers from a range of sectors.
Designed to help students develop key workplace skills, the programme also gives young people a better understanding of the career opportunities available across the region.
Bradley Hall colleagues will deliver sessions exploring the range of roles within the property sector, including surveying, valuation, estate agency, planning, commercial property and business support.
The workshops will form part of a wider employability programme that culminates in a Regional Interview Day, giving students the opportunity to experience the recruitment process and engage directly with employers.
Richard Rafique, group managing director at Bradley Hall, said: “We’re delighted to continue supporting the Building My Skills programme and help inspire the next generation of property professionals.
“We’ve seen the positive impact these workshops have had in previous years, giving students a greater understanding of the career opportunities available within our industry.
“Developing future talent is incredibly important to us as a business, and we’re proud to play our part in helping young people build confidence, raise aspirations and make informed decisions about their future.”
