Housebuilder backed for 135-property development
A housebuilder has secured planning approval for a 135-property venture.
Cameron Hall Homes has been backed to deliver the second phase of its Stoney Wood development at Wynyard, near Stockton-on-Tees.
The company says construction will start next summer.
It adds the scheme will include three, four and five-bed homes, with 81 properties set to be marketed and sold by Cameron Hall Homes.
The remaining 54 plots have been sold to fellow North East housebuilder Banks Homes.
Mark Antonopoulos, Cameron Hall Developments’ managing director, said: “We are pleased to be continuing the Stoney Wood story.
“We are looking forward to construction beginning, and are excited to see Stoney Wood grow.
“We are equally delighted that Banks Homes has secured a deal to acquire 54 units; it is a strong endorsement of the location, the quality of the wider masterplan and the continued demand for high-quality family housing at Wynyard.”
Stoney Wood is set to include a community hub, planned to open later this year, which will include a café, veterinary surgery, medical practice, shops and village hall.
