Freshfield bolsters communications team
North West strategic communications consultancy Freshfield has strengthened its PR and communications team with the appointment of senior PR and communications manager Megan Leeming.
Megan joins the firm, which has offices in Preston and Manchester, to support clients across the professional and financial services, property and regeneration sectors.
Before joining Freshfield, Megan worked for integrated government relations and public relations consultancy GRC Partners + Porter Novelli in New Zealand, where she advised senior leaders in regulated sectors including financial services, infrastructure and pharmaceuticals.
She also worked with non-profit organisations navigating sector reform and ESG reporting challenges.
Megan said: “Freshfield’s clear commitment to impact and partnership is evident in everything they do.
“I am so excited to join this team and work with an impressive range of clients.”
Freshfield advises clients across a range of specialist sectors, including professional services, financial services, property and regeneration, education, social housing and the public sector.
Megan’s appointment follows a successful year for the consultancy, which has been shortlisted for several industry awards for campaigns including its work for Breck Homes and PWA Planning.
Simon Turner, chief executive at Freshfield, added: “We’re always looking to deepen our specialism in PR and comms to support our clients in solving complex communications challenges, building trust with audiences and generating the strategic visibility that helps them grow.
“Megan is someone who brings big consultancy experience, sharp technical skills and outstanding client service principles to our team and we’re delighted to have her supporting our clients.”
