John N Dunn appoints commercial manager

Mechanical and electrical services specialist John N Dunn Group has strengthened its electrical division with the appointment of commercial manager Darren McCallum.

Based at the company’s Newcastle headquarters, Darren will oversee site evaluations, contract administration and supply chain relationships, while acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across a range of projects.

He joins from Taylor Wimpey, where he worked as a quantity surveyor, and returns to John N Dunn Group after previously spending five years with the business as an electrical buyer between 2017 and 2022.

Darren said: “I’m really enjoying being back at John N Dunn Group. 

“The company has a strong culture and has retained the feel of a family business. 

“There are clear progression routes in place for all who want to develop their careers and I’m looking forward to watching the electrical division grow.

“Working at Taylor Wimpey, I gained invaluable experience which will only assist me in my new position.”

Founded over a hundred years ago, John N Dunn Group delivers mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance services for housing developers, housing associations and commercial contractors.

Operating across the North East, Yorkshire and Scotland, the company has completed more than 7000 contracts and continues to invest in its team to support growing demand across its specialist services.
