North Defence scores Leeds United partnership
A military vehicle maker has netted a Premier League football alliance.
North Defence has signed as Leeds United’s official defence partner.
Bosses say the deal will see North Defence’s branding showcased around the club’s Elland Road ground on matchdays during the forthcoming season.
Based in Elland, near Huddersfield, North Defence is known for supplying light mobility vehicles to Western EU NATO member states.
Operating a sister base in Luxembourg, bosses say it has delivered more than 420 vehicles to support operations over the last year.
Oliver North, founder and chief executive of North Defence, said: “It’s a genuine pleasure to partner with the club I’ve cheered on at Elland Road since the mid-1990s.
“Many of our team of tradespeople, engineers and office workers have also been supporting Leeds through the highs and lows of the past three decades, so it’s personal to many of us.
“Under Leeds’ ownership, it is clear to see their ambition and desire to partner with global brands while honouring and supporting local companies.
“The partnership is therefore a perfect one.”
Phil Hardman, Leeds United partnerships director, added: “North Defence’s motto is ‘mission ready’, which I think can be said for both brands as we prepare for the start of the season.
“The firm’s foundations are rooted in integrity and a strong work ethic, which aligns closely with Leeds United.”
