S&W appoints non-executive directors
Professional services group S&W has appointed Stephane Kurgan and Luke Powell as independent non-executive directors.
The pair join the board as the firm continues its growth, bringing experience in scaling businesses, corporate strategy and long-term value creation.
Stephane has served as a venture partner at Index Ventures since 2020 and is an executive adviser to Technology Crossover Ventures.
He previously spent eight years as chief operating officer of King Digital Entertainment, helping oversee the international growth of the Candy Crush Saga creator, and has also held senior roles at Tideway and McKinsey & Co.
Luke is managing partner of law firm Macfarlanes, where he previously co-led the corporate and M&A practice.
He advises on complex transactions across financial services, asset management and private equity, and has overseen the firm's continued financial growth and long-term investment strategy.
Andrew Wilkes, chief executive of S&W, said: “These board appointments strengthen and enhance the breadth of skills and experience supporting S&W’s long-term ambitions.
“Stephane’s proven ability to build and scale high-growth international businesses, combined with Luke’s leadership within one of the UK’s leading law firms and his deep transactional expertise, will bring valuable strategic insight and perspective to board discussions.
“Their guidance will be instrumental as we continue to deliver our long-term growth strategy.”
