Blu Sky bolsters board to support growth plans

North East accountancy firm Blu Sky has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Gill Hunter as board advisor.

Gill brings more than 25 years’ experience advising businesses on technology, intellectual property and commercial matters.

One of the North East’s first specialist technology lawyers, she previously led certified B Corp Square One Law and is widely recognised across the region’s business community.

Gill’s appointment comes as Blu Sky continues to expand its advisory offering for ambitious businesses across the UK.

The firm, which achieved B Corp certification in 2024, provides financial planning, forecasting and scale-up support, with a focus on helping businesses achieve sustainable growth.

Gill’s experience of leading and scaling a purpose-led professional services business is expected to support Blu Sky’s next phase of growth.

Alongside her commercial legal expertise, she brings extensive knowledge of technology, business strategy and inclusive leadership.
