IT firm targets growth after £2.7 million investment
An IT firm is eyeing expansion after securing £2.7 million investment.
Xentra plans to bolster senior leadership, secure new customers and increase marketing activity.
The growth blueprint follows backing from Maven VCTs and NPIF II – Maven Equity Finance, which is managed by Maven Capital Partners as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II.
Bosses say the support will allow the Leeds-based operator to strengthen its focus “on what matters most: expert advice, responsive support and specialist IT solutions”.
Xentra provides cybersecurity and digital protection services to clients including Leeds United Football Club, Leeds Bradford Airport and JT Atkinson.
Henry Doyle, Xentra chief executive, said: “This investment gives us the resources to accelerate our growth plans and strengthen every part of the business.
“The funding will allow us to invest in our people, our technology and our customer experience, ensuring we continue to deliver the high levels of service now expected as we scale.”
Lewis Jones, Maven investment manager, added: “Henry and the senior team have decades of experience in dealing with cyber vendors to allow them to find the right solutions for customers.
“We’re delighted to invest at this time as the business continues to scale.”
