S&W invests in audit & assurance practice with Manchester Partner appointment

S&W, the fast-growing professional services group, is continuing to invest in its long-term growth strategy and expansion in the North West, by strengthening its audit & assurance practice with the appointment of Rob Arthur, Partner, to its Manchester team.

Rob joins S&W with more than 18 years’ experience in audit & assurance, having spent the majority of his career at Deloitte. He has extensive experience leading audits for large multinational, FTSE and AIM-listed businesses, as well as privately owned companies across sectors including consumer markets and engineering and construction.

Throughout his career, Rob has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audits in complex regulatory environments, with deep expertise in IFRS and financial reporting. He has also played a key role in developing high-performing teams and building long-standing client relationships, while helping organisations navigate evolving reporting requirements.

His appointment further strengthens S&W’s growing Manchester team, enhancing the firm’s ability to support a diverse and expanding client base across the North West.

It also builds on recent momentum in the region, with the firm continuing to scale its presence following its move to larger, modern premises in the city centre, creating capacity for further recruitment and collaboration.
