Tank secures transatlantic CMap brief
A Midlands and North West digital marketing agency has secured a new brief to support the international growth ambitions of a professional services software provider.
Nottingham and Manchester-based Tank has been appointed by CMap to deliver an integrated organic search and AI visibility strategy aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in the UK and US.
The agency will deliver data-led campaigns, expert content and strategic guidance designed to improve CMap’s visibility across traditional search engines and large language model (LLM) search platforms.
The work will focus on driving long-term organic growth, increasing brand awareness and supporting commercial performance as CMap continues to expand across both markets.
Tank, part of The Boda Group alongside brand communications agency Warbox, was selected on the back of its experience working with software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses.
Alex Gregory, head of business development at Tank, said: “This partnership reflects just how quickly search is changing, with more brands seeking help to improve their visibility on AI-led search platforms and LLMs.
“CMap is a rapidly expanding SaaS business with ambitious plans to increase market share in the US, while maintaining its market-leading authority in the UK.
“Building genuine brand recognition and capturing search demand will be central to delivering this growth.
“As an agency which built its foundations in PR, and with an ever-increasing portfolio of impactful SEO deliveries, we are uniquely positioned to help CMap achieve its commercial objectives.”
CMap provides professional services automation (PSA) software for consultancies and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, helping organisations manage projects and resources more effectively.
The business employs around 140 people across offices in Manchester and Orlando.
Jon Stead, chief executive of CMap, added: “As we enter our next phase of international growth, we needed an agency partner that genuinely understands the complexities of the SaaS sector and the shifting dynamics of modern search.
“Tank stood out because of its combined expertise.
“The team doesn’t just understand technical SEO, they know how to build the brand authority required to win in the AI era.”
