AMA strengthens infrastructure engineering team
Leeds-headquartered engineering consultancy Andrew Moseley Associates (AMA) has appointed Barry Roberts as associate, strengthening its infrastructure engineering team.
Barry joins the business with more than 35 years’ experience in the transport and highways sector, bringing expertise in infrastructure design and highway engineering.
His career spans projects across the residential, retail, commercial, healthcare and public sectors for clients including Network Rail, Tesco, Lidl, Nestlé and NHS trusts.
In his new role, Barry will support clients from the planning stage through to detailed design and project delivery, helping deliver infrastructure and highway schemes across a range of developments.
Barry said: “I’m delighted to be joining AMA at such an exciting stage in its growth.
“The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality technical advice, but what really stood out to me was the people.
“Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and there’s a genuinely supportive culture across the team.
“I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues and using my experience to help deliver successful outcomes for our clients.”
Managing director Andrew Moseley added: “Barry’s appointment is another important milestone for AMA and further strengthens our infrastructure engineering capabilities.
“His depth of technical knowledge and practical experience will add real value to our clients, giving them even greater confidence in our ability to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through to construction.
“We’re proud that experienced professionals continue to choose AMA.
“We’ve worked hard to create an environment where talented people can thrive, and attracting people like Barry reflects both the reputation we’ve built and our ambitions for the future.”
