NWBLT welcomes new member

The North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT) has welcomed Charlie Louët, deputy managing director of Equans Sci-Tech, as a new member.

Based in Manchester, Charlie leads strategic development and growth at Equans Sci-Tech, supporting clients in sectors including life sciences, advanced manufacturing and defence.

His work focuses on enabling investment, driving innovation and delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

Charlie began his career in public service in France, holding senior roles with the country’s nuclear safety authority and Department for Energy before joining VINCI, where he worked on major infrastructure projects across the UK.

Charlie said: “I am delighted to be joining NWBLT and to have the opportunity to contribute to its work championing the North West.

“The region has exceptional strengths in innovation, advanced industry and infrastructure, and I look forward to working with fellow members to support collaboration, investment and long-term economic growth.”

Chris Woodroofe, chair of NWBLT, added: “Charlie’s breadth of experience across energy, infrastructure, industrial development and the delivery of complex projects in highly regulated environments will bring valuable insight to NWBLT.

“His perspective will be particularly important as we continue to focus on the investment, innovation and collaboration needed to strengthen the North West’s economy and industrial capability, and we are very pleased to have him join the NWBLT.”
