Propifi Bonds names international account manager
Coventry-headquartered investment company Propifi Bonds PLC has appointed Carolyn Barakat as account manager for international markets.
Carolyn joins the business with extensive experience in partnerships and business development across international luxury markets.
In her new role, she will focus on expanding Propifi’s network of introducers and investors overseas, while developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and strategic distribution partners.
Carolyn said: “I’m delighted to be joining Propifi at such an exciting time for the business.
“My background has always been in building trusted relationships with customers and clients, and the opportunity to do so within an ambitious organisation focused on asset-backed, socially meaningful investment feels like a natural fit.
“I’m looking forward to growing Propifi's international presence and introducing the right investors to a proven proposition in the alternative finance space.”
Carolyn’s appointment supports the company’s international growth strategy as it continues to promote its listed bond programme and wider investment offering.
Founded in 2020, Propifi Bonds PLC connects private investors with asset-backed investment opportunities and has completed four bond redemptions over the past two years.
Victoria Boughton, company director of Propifi, added: “Carolyn is exactly the calibre of professional we were looking for to support our international growth.
“Her ability to build trusted relationships with sophisticated investors, combined with her commercial expertise and credibility, makes her ideally placed to represent Propifi in overseas markets.
“This is an exciting chapter for the business, and we're delighted to welcome her to the team.”
