Reward Funding promotes Thames Valley director

Specialist lender Reward Funding has promoted Tom Annetts to business development director as it strengthens its presence across the Thames Valley.

Tom, who joins the London and South East leadership team, brings experience in portfolio management and will focus on growing Reward’s regional footprint, supporting SMEs and property professionals, and expanding the lender’s relationship-led approach across the Thames Valley.

His promotion reflects the company’s continued investment in one of the UK’s strongest regional markets and forms part of its wider strategy to increase support for businesses seeking flexible funding solutions.

Tom said: “I’ve been with the Reward team for a number of years now, and the job is still as exciting as it was on day one.

“Reward’s reputation is industry leading, and it is known for being agile, relationship-led and genuinely committed to supporting SMEs across the country.

“I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running with this new role and building our presence across the Thames Valley and wider South East region.

“There’s a lot of businesses out there needing funding flexibility at the moment.

“Even with the current economic uncertainty, opportunities still exist and funding to bridge gaps are needed.

“The Reward team and I are here and ready to support businesses that want to grow.”

Tom’s promotion follows a period of growth for Reward Funding, which recently surpassed a £350 million loan book for the first time in its 15-year history and was named among The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for a third consecutive year.

The lender has also expanded its teams across the Midlands, Greater London and the North East.

Simon Adcock, regional director for London and the South East at Reward, added: “The Thames Valley remains a hugely important region for ambitious SMEs and property professionals.

“Tom’s promotion ensures we continue to invest in local relationships and regional expertise as demand for flexible funding continues to grow.”
