Tatton Estate expands with commercial property deal

An estate operator has expanded its portfolio with a commercial property deal.

Tatton Estate has bought an 18,458sq ft Stockport trade warehouse.

Officials say the move for the Great Portwood Street site “continues its strategy of investing in high-quality commercial assets that help secure the Estate’s future and the communities it serves”.

The warehouse neighbours The Peel Centre and includes retailers B&M and Dreams, with the deal led by Tatton Estate asset management director Daniel Bourne.

Tatton Estate oversees a number of commercial property ventures across Cheshire and Greater Manchester, and is also known for farming, heritage building, village and environmental work.

Pete Crowther, chief executive, said: “By continuing to build a strong and resilient portfolio, we’re creating the financial strength that enables us to invest across the estate.”
