Builder adds to book with 30-home development
A housebuilder is set to break ground on a 30-property affordable home development.
Owl Group has bought a 3.74-acre Worcestershire site.
The firm says the parcel, in Drakes Broughton, near Pershore, will house one to four-bed properties delivered by its Owl Partnerships affordable home arm.
Construction is earmarked to start later this year, with Tamworth-headquartered Owl Group revealing it will unveil a housing association partner “shortly”.
Paul Breen, Owl Group managing director for the West Midlands, said: “This acquisition represents another important milestone in our growth across the West Midlands.
“It will be our fourth active site in the region, with a further 17 in the pipeline.
“Drakes Broughton has a fantastic community spirit with local shops, schools, pubs, sports teams and more.
“This site has been well-planned with plenty of space for everyday life.
“It will create a welcoming and attractive new neighbourhood where residents can settle into their new homes, while also feeling part of the village.”
