Self-storage firm 'has room to grow' after expansion
A self-storage firm says it has growth locked up after investing in a site expansion.
One Click Storage has opened a second base in Consett, County Durham.
And the company says the move will lay foundations for future growth, revealing “further expansion is planned across Durham and Gateshead in the years ahead”.
Spread across a 9600sq ft footprint, its Consett venture comes less than 18 months after the family-run operator launched a site in nearby Stanley.
Officially opened by Councillor Andrew Husband, leader of Durham County Council, the business says the base will help “meet growing demand for its services and expertise”.
Tom Forster, company director, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have opened our second site in less than 18 months – County Durham is home to our businesses, but it’s our family home too.
“When customers are storing possessions that are often valuable or hold years of memories, they should feel completely confident they’re secure and in safe hands.
“That’s why we’ve invested so heavily in modern, welcoming and professionally managed facilities.
“We're grateful to Councillor Husband for joining us to officially open the Consett site.”
