Signs point to growth for graphics firm after move
A signage firm says it is pointed towards success following a factory move.
Signage Print Identity has hailed the impact of a Bolton switch.
Bosses say the venture has increased its operational footprint by nearly 500 per cent and leaves it primed to roll out “big plans” across an “evolutionary 18 months”.
Founded by father and son Joe and Joseph Derbyshire in 2024, The Mill Industrial Estate-based firm designs, makes and installs internal and external signage for clients including Arnold Clark, Footasylum, Ricoh, Tattu and Colony.
It was previously based at a Prestwich address.
Hailing the impact of its move, Joseph, sales and marketing director, says the 15-staff company has spent more than £130,000 on equipment to boost operations, adding plans are in place to create a mezzanine level, additional offices, a temperature-controlled, dust-free print area and a loud equipment room.
He added: “This facility is almost six times bigger than our last one, and we’re already starting to outgrow it.
“Alongside technological advances in design and production, we’ve noted increased demand for more bold and creative briefs, and that’s been driving new and innovative installations.
“We’ve got big plans for the business and it’s going to be an evolutionary 18 months.”
