Surveyor plots growth with town office expansion
A chartered surveyor and property consultancy says it has made a “statement of intent” with an office expansion.
DM Hall has moved to a larger Kendal base.
Bosses say the 2100sq ft office more than doubles operating space and “provides the capacity and environment needed to support future growth”.
The three-floor site – in Kendal’s Finkle Street – replaces a previous base in the town, and comes three years after the business bought the Cumbrian practice of Hyde Harrington.
Featuring open plan working areas and meeting rooms, it is home to ten staff, who are supported by a Carlisle base, a Cornwall hub and a number of Scottish sites.
Partner Charles Metcalf said: “This move represents a genuine statement of intent.
“We have been established in Kendal for many years, and this new office underlines our long‑term commitment to the town and the wider area.
“We have taken a ten‑year lease, which demonstrates real confidence in both the local market and our future here.”
