Wingstop UK in 30-site growth plan as sales surge
A fast-food chain has revealed a surge in revenues as it pushes forward with expansion plans.
Wingstop UK aims to open up to 30 sites across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland this year.
The operator is set to open its 100th UK restaurant in Inverness in the coming days, and has also signed a Polish expansion agreement.
The blueprint came as the group – whose estate includes sites in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle – revealed new shop openings helped revenues surge by 73 per cent to £216.4 million in 2025.
The firm said it has seen trading continue to be “encouraging” over the current financial year.
Chris Sherriff, chief executive of Wingstop UKI, said: “Reaching our 100th site in the UK is an incredible milestone.
“Customers increasingly seek out brands that offer a memorable experience, differentiated products and genuine value.
“To have achieved record results, despite the well-reported headwinds facing the broader hospitality sector, is a fantastic achievement.”
The business’ network also includes bases in Belfast, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and Nottingham.
