Property auctioneer finds prime HQ for growth

A property auctioneer has relocated to a larger headquarters in Glasgow after a period of rapid growth and recruitment.

Prime Property Auctions has moved from West Regent Street to Academy Park Business Park on the city’s south side after outgrowing its previous office, which had been its base for the past two years.

The new 4500sq ft headquarters is double the size of the company's former premises, providing additional space for future recruitment as well as dedicated meeting areas for clients and an expanded workspace for its growing team.

The firm currently employs 23 people following a series of recent hires.

Founder John Morris said: “We needed more space due to the growing numbers of staff.

“Since February, five new members of the team have come in and during that process it became clear we had outgrown our city centre office.

“As great as that location was, this allows us scope to grow even further.

“Moving out of the city centre gives us a lot more for our money, plus the office comes with parking.

“We have saved a lot on office rental and that has allowed us to invest in the staff.”

Founded in 2022 by John and Luis Guarin, Prime Property Auctions specialises in the sale of residential, commercial and land assets across the UK.

The move follows a strong start to the year, with the company selling an average of 35 properties each month.

John added: “We are growing so rapidly as people like to deal with us.

“They will continue to come to us to buy and sell more properties and it was important for us to have an office which reflected our standing in the sector.

“It’s great to see the continued growth and we want to keep that going.

“We are very ambitious and want to become the go-to property auction house in Britain.”
