Cable manufacturer appoints Canadian partner
A manufacturer of cable management products has strengthened its presence in North America after signing a new partnership in Canada.
CMP Products, which is headquartered in Cramlington, Northumberland, has appointed Salex to represent the business across Southern Ontario.
The agreement will see Salex promote CMP’s portfolio of cable glands, cable cleats and cable lugs across key industrial markets through its electrical industrial division.
Jamie Hughes, regional manager of the Americas at CMP Products, said: “We are delighted to have forged this relationship with Salex, which will allow us to significantly grow our reach within the Ontario market.
“Ontario’s growth in EV, critical minerals and energy is accelerating demand for safe, reliable power and connectivity in harsh environments, and we see Salex and CMP playing a pivotal role in this.
“Salex has ambitious plans for growth, we were impressed by their professionalism, strong reputation in the marketplace and shared commitment to protecting critical infrastructure, which made them a natural choice to represent CMP Products.”
Ben Fischer, principal at Salex, added: “We are pleased to partner with CMP and bring their high-quality, globally trusted cable management solutions to our customers across Southern Ontario.
“As demand continues to grow across sectors such as EV, energy and industrial manufacturing, this partnership enables us to further strengthen our electrical offering and support customers with reliable, safety-critical solutions.
“CMP’s reputation for quality and innovation aligns strongly with our own commitment to delivering best-in-class products and service, and we look forward to building a successful, long-term partnership together.”
