We Are Zenith Celebrates Outstanding Apprenticeship Success with 92% First-Time EPA Pass Rate

We Are Zenith is proud to report a strong set of End-Point Assessment (EPA) outcomes for the 2025/26 academic year, with figures confirmed as of November 2025 showing sustained high performance across the apprenticeship portfolio.

Of the 87 learners who completed their EPA this year, 80 achieved a pass first time, delivering a first-time pass rate of 91.95%. Alongside this, 59 of the 87 learners achieved a Merit or Distinction grade, taking the combined Merit/Distinction rate to 67.82%, a result that reflects not just competence, but genuine excellence among Zenith's apprentices.

Liz Stevens, Apprenticeship Manager at We Are Zenith, said the results speak to the dedication of learners and the strength of the support around them.

"These numbers don't happen by accident," said Liz. "A 91.95% first-time pass rate, with more than two-thirds of our learners walking away with a Merit or Distinction, is a brilliant achievement for our apprentices and a real testament to the quality of teaching, coaching and support they receive throughout their programme. I couldn't be prouder of what this cohort has accomplished."

Looking ahead to 2026/27

With one academic year closing out on a high, attention is already turning to the next. A number of EPAs have already been booked in for 2026/27, with the team setting an ambitious target for the year ahead — a significant step up that reflects both the growing demand for apprenticeship training and Zenith's confidence in its delivery model.

"We're not slowing down," Liz added. "We've already got a strong pipeline of EPAs booked in, and we're gearing up for our busiest and most ambitious year yet. We've also welcomed new courses and new trainers into the team this year, which is bringing fresh energy and expertise to what we can offer our apprentices."

A team effort

Liz was quick to credit the wider apprenticeship training team for the results, describing the achievement as a whole-team effort built on consistent coaching, robust progress reviews and genuine investment in every learner's journey.

"None of this is down to one person," Liz said. "It's the result of everyone in the apprenticeship training team pulling together trainers, coaches, assessors and everyone behind the scenes who supports our apprentices day in, day out. This is very much their success as much as it is our learners'."

We Are Zenith will continue to build on this momentum as it moves into 2026/27, with a clear focus on maintaining high pass rates while scaling up delivery to meet growing demand across the North East.
