Roman promotes operations director
Shower designer and manufacturer Roman, based in Newton Aycliffe in County Durham, has promoted Alex Crawley to operations director and appointed him to its board of directors.
Alex joined the business as an apprentice in 2001 and has spent the past 25 years progressing through a series of operational roles.
During that time, he has helped drive continuous improvement across Roman’s manufacturing and business operations.
In his new role, Alex will oversee the company’s operations as a member of the board, supporting Roman's continued focus on operational excellence and long-term growth.
David Osborne, chief executive of Roman, said: “Alex has been the protégé for some years now and has been successfully running operations without the title.
“Roman is moving into very exciting times and we know Alex will move his team and service to the next level.”
