eCapital names UK managing director
Invoice finance and asset-based lending provider eCapital UK has appointed John Nelson as managing director to lead the next phase of the business’ growth.
John joins with almost 40 years’ experience in financial services, including senior leadership roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland and Investec.
He brings nearly two decades of specialist expertise in receivables finance and asset-based lending, alongside extensive experience in corporate banking, risk and commercial leadership.
In his new role, John will lead the day-to-day operations of eCapital UK, working with the executive team to deliver the company’s growth strategy, while current chief executive David Tilling transitions to executive chair and focuses on the long-term strategic direction of the business.
John said: “I am delighted to be joining eCapital UK at such an exciting point in its journey.
“The business has established an excellent reputation in the market, underpinned by a talented team, strong client relationships and the backing of a strong parent.
“There is a significant opportunity to continue growing our presence in the UK by helping more businesses access the flexible funding they need to thrive.
