The Tempus appoints hotel general manager
Northumberland boutique hotel The Tempus has appointed Richard Parker as hotel general manager.
Richard brings more than 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having led hotels and hospitality operations across the UK.
His career spans both branded and independent properties, with expertise in guest experience, operational excellence, team development and commercial performance.
In his new role, Richard will oversee all aspects of The Tempus’ operations, leading the team as the award-winning hotel continues to build on its reputation for boutique hospitality, dining and guest experience.
Richard said: “I am delighted to be joining The Tempus at such an exciting stage in its journey.
“The hotel has quickly established itself as one of the most unique and innovative hospitality destinations in the country, combining exceptional service with a truly memorable guest experience.

Richard’s appointment reflects The Tempus’ continued investment in its leadership team, strengthening the business as it builds on its award-winning reputation and continues to grow its hospitality offering.
