Warmworks’ chief joins NGN advisory group

Warmworks’ chief executive Ross Armstrong has joined Northern Gas Networks’ Independent Stakeholder Group (ISG).

The ISG provides independent challenge and scrutiny on behalf of customers and stakeholders across the North of England, helping to ensure their views inform business planning, service delivery and long-term decision-making.

Ross brings more than 20 years’ experience delivering fuel poverty and energy efficiency programmes across the UK.

Under his leadership, Warmworks has supported more than 50,000 households to improve the energy efficiency of their homes and reduce heating costs.

Ross said: “I’m very much looking forward to working with a range of expert colleagues on the Independent Stakeholder Group.

“Northern Gas Networks plays a vital role in the lives of customers and communities across the North of England, and I welcome the opportunity to contribute insight from my experience of having worked with fuel poor homes in communities throughout the UK.

“Ensuring the voices of vulnerable households are properly heard and meaningfully represented in decision-making is more important than ever as we continue the transition to a fairer and more sustainable future.”
