Bin cleaning firm polishes offer with fleet investment

A wheelie bin cleaning firm has polished its offer with a fleet investment.

Bin Boutique has added new vehicles to its portfolio.

Bosses say the outlay will help the business “increase capacity to meet rising demand and prepare for its next phase of domestic, commercial and franchise growth”.

They add the Isuzu vehicles will also help the Blyth-headquartered company – which also provides bin cleaning for businesses – prepare to meet growing demand for food waste cleaning.

Founded in 2001, and rebranded as Bin Boutique in 2006, the company serves homes and businesses between Berwick and Newton Aycliffe, in County Durham.

A spokesperson said: “Our vehicles are central to everything we do, so this investment is about much more than giving the fleet a new look. 

“We needed vehicles capable of supporting our specialist equipment, busy daily routes and the continued growth of the business.

“The aim is to build on what we have established in the North East, while creating a strong and scalable business that can continue to grow much further.”

Dave Forster, of Newcastle-based Isuzu truck dealer Thompson Commercials, added: “We are pleased to support a growing North East business as it invests in its operations and prepares for the next phase of its development.

“These vehicles are truly unique and were built in conjunction with Dave and Rod Robinson, of Robinson Truck Bodies in Newcastle, with valuable input from Bin Boutique’s team.

“They also meet the Euro 6d emissions standard, which will help Bin Boutique reduce its carbon footprint.
