Fiducia bolsters specialist insurance team

Leeds-based specialty insurance managing general agent Fiducia has promoted Emma Harvey to underwriter, strengthening its combined liabilities team amid growing broker and client demand.

Emma joined Fiducia as assistant underwriter in 2024 and brings more than ten years’ experience in insurance, having previously held commercial broking roles at Aon and Gauntlet Group.

In her new role, Emma will specialise in combined liabilities insurance, working with brokers across the UK and international markets to assess risks and provide tailored cover for clients including hauliers, couriers, warehousekeepers and contractors.

She said: “Fiducia works hard to provide brokers with competitively priced policies that meet the specialist needs of their clients.

“Combined Liabilities is a highly active and evolving area of insurance and since joining the company I’ve had the opportunity to learn from our expert underwriting team.

“I’m excited to be taking the next step in my career and look forward to working with our broker partners to deliver the high standard of service they're accustomed to.”

Emma’s promotion forms part of Fiducia’s continued investment in its underwriting expertise, strengthening its combined liabilities offering as the business responds to growing demand from brokers and clients.

Gerry Sheehy, chief executive of Fiducia, added: “Emma’s promotion is thoroughly deserved and reflects the significant contributions she has made to our company since joining.

“Her ‘can do’ attitude and commitment to providing exemplary service have been fundamental as we’ve expanded our combined liabilities cover.

“As we continue to grow our network of broking partners, I have no doubt that Emma will remain an invaluable asset to our team.”
