PwC strengthens North East leadership team

Professional services firm PwC UK has promoted Toni Wood, Stephanie Lowry and Darren Griffin to director as it continues to invest in its Newcastle office and North East team.

Toni, who joined PwC through its undergraduate programme, has spent 14 years building her career in audit, developing particular expertise across the rail, retail and renewable energy sectors.

Stephanie has also been with the firm for almost 14 years and becomes a director in PwC’s global marketing team, where she will lead its global brand campaign.

Darren brings more than 28 years’ experience in technology and digital transformation, including 15 years with PwC.

In his new role, he will lead teams supporting organisations to harness technology, data and AI to improve public services and outcomes.

The trio are among 29 colleagues recognised across the North East in PwC’s summer promotions round, strengthening the firm's regional leadership and expertise as it continues to support businesses and organisations across the region.
