Affinia strengthens client services with four senior appointments
Accountancy and advisory firm Affinia has made four senior appointments as it expands its specialist services and continues to grow across London, the Midlands, East Anglia and South East England.
The appointments are John Weston as employment tax director; Lee Gardham as group finance director; Joe Moore as director of business development; and Katia Zavershinskaya as head of innovation and change.
John joins from BDO and becomes Affinia's first employment tax director, helping launch and develop its new Employment Solutions service.
Lee brings more than 20 years’ experience across strategic finance, M&A and business transformation, including nearly 11 years at Cardano.
Joe, who previously worked at Deloitte and KPMG, becomes the first member of Affinia's new business development team, while Katia brings more than 15 years’ experience leading technology and business transformation programmes, including work across AI, data and operational change.
Their appointments strengthen Affinia’s expertise across employment tax, finance, business development and transformation as the firm continues to broaden its services and expand its national footprint.
Chris Annis, chief commercial officer at Affinia, said: “These appointments mark another important step in Affinia’s growth.
“Our clients are operating in a challenging and fast-changing environment, and we are continuing to invest in the people and services that can help them respond with confidence.
“John’s appointment enables us to build a dedicated employment solutions service at a time when employers need clear advice on workforce tax, reward and mobility issues.
“Lee brings deep strategic finance and transformation experience that will support the development of the wider business.
“Joe’s role will help us ensure clients can access the full breadth of expertise across Affinia, wherever they are based and whatever stage of growth they are at.
“Katia adds significant strength to our innovation and change capability, helping us deliver practical transformation that supports our continued growth and brings real value to our clients.”
