Persimmon appoints Lancashire land director
Housebuilder Persimmon Homes Lancashire has appointed Diane Howcroft as land director, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to develop its pipeline across Lancashire and Cumbria.
Diane brings almost 20 years’ experience in housebuilding and development, spanning land acquisition, strategic planning, partnership housing and development delivery.
She has spent more than four years with Persimmon, most recently as head of partnership homes, and originally began her career with the housebuilder as a graduate in its Lancashire land team.
Her career has also included senior development and land management roles with housebuilders across the North West.
In her new role, Diane will work across Persimmon’s three brands – Persimmon Homes, Charles Church and Westbury Partnerships – as the company identifies and delivers new development opportunities across the region.
She holds an MSc in real estate and property management from the University of Salford and a management degree from the University of Warwick.
Diane said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of land director for Persimmon Homes Lancashire.
“Having spent much of my career working across the North West, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for new homes and thriving communities.
“I look forward to working with colleagues, landowners and stakeholders as we continue delivering high-quality homes across our region.”
Gareth Stansfield, managing director of Persimmon Homes Lancashire, added: “Diane’s extensive experience, deep understanding of the region and proven leadership make her an excellent appointment for our business.
“Her expertise in land and partnerships will be invaluable as we continue to bring forward high-quality developments and deliver much-needed new homes across Lancashire and Cumbria, supporting our long-term growth targets.
“Building strong, sustainable communities is a priority for us at Persimmon.
“Diane’s support will play an important role in helping us continue to create developments that meet local housing needs while creating vibrant communities for our customers.”
