Haiilo appoints chief customer officer
Global employee experience platform Haiilo has appointed Tom French as chief customer officer as it continues to expand internationally.
Tom brings two decades of experience across internal communications and the intranet sector, spanning consultancy and senior in-house roles.
In his new position, he will lead Haiilo’s customer-facing teams and help shape its customer strategy, working with organisations to support the integration and adoption of its AI-powered employee experience platform.
His remit will also include strengthening relationships across Haiilo’s international customer base and identifying opportunities to support further growth across global markets.
Tom said: “Haiilo has grown impressively in recent years, and I’m excited to be joining the team at such an important stage in its international expansion.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand how internal communications can act as a strategic force for organisations, yet there is still a significant opportunity for businesses to use communication to contribute to real business impact – whether that’s strengthening culture, connecting teams or helping employees move forward together.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with Haiilo’s customers and leadership team to help them get the most value from the platform and make internal communications a more deliberate part of the employee experience.”
Tom’s appointment comes amid significant expansion for Haiilo, which has offices in the US, UK, Germany and Finland.
Its Manchester team has grown more than sixfold since the office opened in 2024, while the company has made 98 hires globally over the past two years, including 30 in the UK during the last 12 months.
Andrew Avanessian, chief executive at Haiilo, added: “Tom joins Haiilo with an impressive career of working closely with customers to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to create momentum for businesses.
“He will be a valuable addition to our leadership team, supporting our customers with simplifying their digital workplaces to create more productive and engaged teams.
“The future of work is changing quickly, and business leaders have an opportunity to get ahead by prioritising how they communicate, connect and engage with their employees.
“Tom will play a key role in helping our customers navigate these changes and get even more value from Haiilo.”
