Clive Owen welcomes seven trainees

An independent accountancy, business and tax advisory firm has welcomed seven new trainees as it continues to invest in developing its next generation of professionals.

Clive Owen’s latest intake spans its audit and accounts and tax teams across Darlington, York and Durham, adding to colleagues who began their training earlier this year.

Azza Abdelmagid and Jack Sims join as audit and accounts associates in York, alongside tax associate Will Ellison.

Danny Clayton joins the Durham audit and accounts team, while Francesca Stobbs and Jonathan Cale become audit and accounts associates in Darlington, alongside tax associate Alistair Sweetin.

They join Adam Penlington, Liam Hawkins, Sam Lips and Alex Thames, who began their careers with Clive Owen earlier in 2026 across its Darlington, Middlesbrough, Durham and Newcastle operations.
