Azets welcomes 22 new recruits

Accountancy firm Azets has welcomed 22 graduates and school leavers across its three North East offices as it continues to invest in developing its future workforce.

The new recruits have joined teams in Newcastle, Durham and Teesside, with 12 beginning careers in audit and three in wealth management.

A further four have joined its corporate and private client tax teams, with additional recruits starting in VAT, accounts and business advisory services, and corporate finance.

School leavers will undertake a six-year programme, initially working towards an Association of Accounting Technicians qualification before progressing towards a chartered accountancy qualification.

Graduates will follow a three or four-year programme leading towards their respective chartered qualifications.

The intake forms part of Azets’ wider investment in developing new talent as the firm continues to grow its expertise and services across the region.

Azets employs more than 300 people across its North East offices at Regent Centre in Gosforth, Wynyard Park on Teesside and Belmont Business Park in Durham, providing accountancy, tax and advisory services to businesses and individuals.
