Engineer grows order book with fertiliser deal

An engineering firm has bolstered its order book with a process sector deal.

Three60Energy is working with CF Fertilisers UK.

Bosses say the company will provide engineering and design support to the fertiliser product maker’s North East site in Billingham, near Stockton-on-Tees.

Hailing the contract as a “great vote of confidence” in the Aberdeen-headquartered firm, they add it will “create further employment opportunities”.

Alasdair Smith, managing director of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning service line at Three60Energy, which operates a Billingham office, said: “This contract is an important step in the delivery of our diversification strategy.

“It brings our engineering expertise into a new sector, while strengthening our footprint in the North East of England.

“We’re looking forward to growing this partnership with CF Fertilisers UK through 2026 and into their 2027 improvement programme.”
