Three firms fill new £3.3 million York scheme

A £3.3 million investment has transformed three former agricultural stores in York into fully occupied industrial and warehouse units.

The buildings at Northminster Business Park have been redeveloped to create Cropton Court, with three growing businesses taking space at the scheme.

The detached units, ranging from 6250sq ft to 8250sq ft, have been occupied by Dolphin Minerals, Automotive Equipment Solutions (AES) UK and Express Electronics.

Dolphin Minerals is a wholesaler of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones and jewellery, while AES UK supplies garage equipment for commercial vehicles.

Express Electronics, meanwhile, is an electronic component supplier and distributor.

The units were jointly marketed by property consultancies GV&Co and PPH Commercial and include dedicated parking, loading areas and yards.

Energy-efficient features including solar panels, translucent roof lights, high-bay LED lighting and electric vehicle charging points have also helped the development achieve A-rated Energy Performance Certificates.

Located less than four miles west of York city centre, Northminster Business Park is close to Poppleton railway station and Park & Ride, with road links to the A59 and A64.
