New website fires up Nortec's online presence

A North East fire and security specialist has strengthened its digital presence with the launch of a new website showcasing its services and regional reach.

Gateshead-based Nortec Fire has developed the platform to bring its fire and security offering together in one place, making it easier for existing and prospective customers to access information.

Its services range from fire alarm systems, fire risk assessments and fire door inspections to CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and 24/7 monitoring.

The company works with businesses and public sector organisations across the North East, Yorkshire and Cumbria, supporting sectors including education, healthcare, care homes, retail and hospitality.

The website also introduces members of the Nortec Fire team and reinforces the company’s Life & Property Matters message, which reflects its focus on protecting people and buildings.

Tara Allen, chief executive at Nortec Fire, said: “It's been a brilliant collective effort and it feels like a true reflection of Nortec Fire.

“People may know Nortec Fire for our fire safety work, but there’s much more to what we do. 

“Security is an important part of our offering and we wanted the new website to make the full breadth of our services much clearer.

“We also really wanted the website to showcase our team. 

“Nortec Fire is very much a team-led business and we’re incredibly proud of the people behind it. 

“Life & Property Matters sums up why we do what we do. 

“Whether we’re working with a school, hospital or office, ultimately there are people and property to protect. 

“That's something we never lose sight of.”

The project was delivered in collaboration with web design agency Edward Robertson, with photography by Gavin Forster showcasing the business and its employees.

Tara added: “A huge thank you has to go to everyone involved in bringing the website together, particularly Graham and Chris at Edward Robertson, Gavin Forster for the photography, and Harriet Hamilton for managing the whole project.’

“We’re really pleased with the end result and we’re looking forward to sharing much more about Nortec Fire, our team and the work we do over the coming months.”
