Isadore Goldman 'moves to next stage' with base

A financial services support firm has expanded its portfolio with a city office.

Isadore Goldman has opened a Birmingham base.

Bosses say the hub – led by solicitor and director Monica Kapur – “marks the next stage” in the bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring practice’s growth.

They add the Birmingham office will “provide a local point of contact for clients, insolvency practitioners and professional advisers across the Midlands”, adding it will also support the development of the business’ IG Construct insolvency practitioners support arm.

Monica, who hails from the Second City and has 20 years’ experience advising on contentious matters, said the firm’s 3 Brindley Place office is a “very exciting step”.

She said: “Birmingham has a strong business, advisory and professional community, and having a presence here allows us to build closer relationships with clients, referrers, insolvency practitioners and other professionals across the region.

“Opening an office here reflects our commitment to being part of the local professional community,” added Monica, who was recently appointed regional chair of the R3 Midlands branch.

Nick Oliver, Isadore Goldman managing director, added: “Monica is exactly the right person to lead that next stage, bringing deep sector experience, strong regional connections and a real understanding of the local professional community.”
