BTG Eddisons appoints property director
Real estate consultancy BTG Eddisons has appointed Ian Steele as a director in its Liverpool property agency team as it continues to expand its North West operation.
Ian brings more than 30 years of experience in the region’s office property market and joins after seven years as a principal at Avison Young’s Liverpool office.
He previously served as a senior director at GVA and has advised clients on a range of high-profile schemes across the Liverpool and Manchester markets.
Working alongside property agency directors Robert Diggle and David Baker, Ian will focus primarily on office agency and development.
His experience spans office-led development, agency and occupier consultancy, and he will help strengthen BTG Eddisons’ pipeline and wider property agency offering.
Ian’s appointment forms part of BTG Eddisons’ wider growth strategy across the North, where it also operates property agency teams in Sheffield and Bradford.
The consultancy is expanding its agency presence in Manchester too, with associate director Paul Parker moving across from its auctions team.
Luke Tillison, head of transactional at BTG Eddisons, added: “We are really thrilled that Ian is joining our Liverpool agency team, working alongside Rob and David.
“He is very well established and highly connected in the Liverpool market and brings a strong profile and network with him.
“Ian will play an important role in growing our property agency work in Liverpool and, importantly, in building a stronger development and refurbishment pipeline.”
Luke added: “BTG Eddisons already has a strong agency team in the city, and Ian’s appointment gives us the scope to build on that, with someone who knows the market exceptionally well.
“He will also work across Manchester and the wider North West as the agency division grows.
“While his experience is centred on offices and development, Ian has the breadth and expertise to work across the wider market and that flexibility will be invaluable as we continue to develop the business.”
