Hayward Wright appoints development manager

Accountancy and advisory group Hayward Wright has appointed Mia Mahoney as business development manager as it continues to expand its national presence.

Based at the firm’s Birmingham office, Mia will support business development activity across the UK, working alongside its advisers and leadership team.

Her role will focus on building new relationships, strengthening existing partnerships and connecting businesses with Hayward Wright’s growing range of accountancy and advisory services.

Mia joins from international law firm Gowling WLG, where she was part of its national clients and markets team.

Mia said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Hayward Wright at such an exciting stage in the firm’s growth journey. 

“The business has an outstanding reputation for delivering advice that genuinely helps clients achieve their ambitions.

Mia’s appointment follows a period of expansion for Hayward Wright, which has completed a series of acquisitions and mergers during the past 12 months.

These include the acquisition of Birmingham-based Wharfside Accountancy and a merger with Leeds-based Auker Rhodes, which marked the firm’s first expansion beyond the Midlands.
