Telecoms wholesaler holds annual partner event
A North East telecommunications wholesaler has brought together industry partners from across the UK after recording double-digit growth in turnover and its partner network.
Gateshead-based Eclipse Wholesale hosted its second annual partner event at Live Theatre on Newcastle’s Quayside, following the inaugural gathering last year.
Telecommunications providers, channel partners and industry professionals attended for an afternoon of industry insight, business updates and networking.
Sponsored by 8x8, ITS, KCOM, Tekton Billing and Zen Internet, the event featured perspectives on opportunities and challenges facing the telecoms channel.
Lincoln-based reseller Bluecube shared its experience of working with Eclipse, while guests also attended a live recording of Elevate Wholesale’s Chewing the Channel podcast.
Eclipse’s leadership team provided updates on the business and its portal plans, while reflecting on progress over the past 12 months.
The conference was followed by a networking event at Pitcher and Piano on Newcastle’s Quayside.
It came after another year of expansion for Eclipse, which recorded 22 per cent turnover growth alongside a 21 per cent increase in its partner base.
James Drake, managing director, said: “Our annual partner event is a fantastic opportunity to bring our partners, suppliers and the wider channel together in one room.
“Following the success of our inaugural event last year, it was brilliant to see so many people join us in Newcastle once again.”
