SPOR seals ‘natural fit’ with Squaredot deal
A workplace technology specialist has expanded its design capabilities with the acquisition of a Warwickshire consultancy.
Maidenhead-based SPOR Group has bought Stratford-upon-Avon interior design consultancy Squaredot, bringing together expertise across workplace technology, interior design and audiovisual environments.
Squaredot will continue operating from its existing base, while also gaining access to SPOR Group’s Maidenhead office as it looks to expand.
Kris Krokosz will remain managing director of Squaredot alongside business consultant David Kramer, while SPOR Group co-founder Chris Gore will take on the role of group strategic director.
Established more than 25 years ago, Squaredot has completed more than 983 projects and secured 25 British Council for Offices awards and finalist placings.
Its clients include CBRE, SCC, Bristol & Bath Science Park, CareCo, Kimberly-Clark, Manchester Airports Group and Savills.
Kris said: “The acquisition brings together complementary expertise, experience and relationships, creating a strong platform for continued growth and development.
“Existing clients will continue to benefit from the knowledge and specialist experience that have been at the heart of the business, alongside the additional resources and opportunities that the acquisition provides.”
The deal marks the latest stage in SPOR Group’s expansion, with the business supporting more than 1500 meeting rooms across the UK and Europe for clients including the NFL and NHS.
Chris added: “We are delighted to welcome Squaredot into SPOR Group.
“The acquisition is a natural fit for both businesses, bringing together complementary capabilities, talented people and strong customer relationships.
“Our focus has always been on helping organisations get more from their workplace technology, not simply installing equipment.
“By combining the strengths of SPOR Group and Squaredot, we can broaden the expertise and support we provide to customers while creating an even stronger platform for future growth.
“It is also important to us that Squaredot’s existing customers continue to have access to the people and specialist knowledge they know and trust.
“Kris and David remaining with the business is a key part of that continuity, while the wider SPOR Group resources give the team new opportunities to develop and expand what they can offer.”
