Teesside agency hailed among Europe’s best
A Teesside digital agency has gained European recognition after being named among the continent’s top 100 small and medium-sized workplaces.
Middlesbrough-based Outrank has been ranked 81st in Europe’s Best 100 Small & Medium Workplaces 2026, making it the second-highest placed marketing business on the list.
The recognition follows a period of significant growth for the Riverside Park-headquartered company, which has expanded from 17 employees in 2023 to almost 60 today.
It also comes just months after Outrank was ranked second among the UK’s Best Medium Workplaces, having risen from 77th in the small company category in 2024 to third in 2025.
The company has evolved from its digital agency roots into a technology-enabled SME growth platform, combining specialist consultancy with proprietary technology and customer acquisition services.
The European ranking is compiled by Great Place To Work and based on confidential employee feedback covering areas including trust in management, respect, fairness, workplace relationships and leadership.
More than 1.5 million employees across Europe contributed to this year’s research.
The accolade adds to Outrank’s recent inclusion in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list and further Great Place To Work recognition in the UK.
Stephen Robinson, Outrank founder and chief executive, said: “We’ve grown quickly over the last few years, so being recognised at a European level is a great marker of how far the business and our team have come.
“What makes this particularly meaningful is that the ranking comes from the people who actually work here.
“We’ve had a lot of change as we’ve grown, and maintaining the culture and the way people work together has been an important part of that.
“We’ve always been based in Middlesbrough, and we’ve built the business here while working with clients across the UK.
“To see a Teesside business recognised alongside organisations from across Europe is a great reflection of the people we have here and the talent in the region.”
