Finance provider grows base as demand rises
A specialist finance provider has expanded its Reading headquarters after passing £3 billion in invoices funded over a 12-month period for the first time.
eCapital UK has relocated its head office and Southern regional headquarters to larger premises as it responds to growing demand for flexible business finance.
The company provides invoice finance and asset-based lending to SMEs and mid-market businesses, helping them access working capital to support expansion and cash flow.
Over the past three years, eCapital has increased the number of clients it supports by more than 32 per cent to more than 1500 businesses nationwide.
It has also expanded its funding capabilities, with facilities of up to £10 million now available as it targets larger and more complex financing requirements.
Mark Finn, chief revenue officer of eCapital UK, said: “Reading is one of the UK’s leading commercial centres and continues to play an important role in our long-term growth strategy.
“This move represents a significant investment in our Southern and HQ operation and underlines our commitment to supporting businesses, introducers and advisers across the region.
“The new office provides a modern, collaborative environment for our team and creates a strong platform from which to continue delivering exceptional client service and sustainable growth.
“Reaching more than £3 billion of invoices factored is a significant achievement for eCapital and reflects the strength of the relationships we have built with businesses and introducers across the UK.
“It also demonstrates the continued demand for flexible working capital solutions as businesses look to invest, expand and build resilience.”
Mike Harrison, regional managing director (South), added: “This move is an exciting achievement for our Reading team and underlines the strength of our presence across the South.
“We have built strong relationships in the region by focusing on what matters most to our clients and introducers – delivering responsive support, commercial expertise and funding solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions.
“Reading has always been an important location for us, and our new office provides a fantastic environment for our team while creating the capacity to support our future plans.
“We are proud of the relationships we have built across the Southern business community and look forward to continuing to help SMEs access the finance they need to thrive.”
