Raisin UK names new chief executive
Savings platform Raisin UK has appointed Jules di Mambro as chief executive following regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.
Jules brings more than 20 years’ experience across financial services, corporate finance and high-growth businesses, spanning banking, fintech and strategic leadership.
He joins from OakNorth, where he was head of corporate development and investor relations, leading M&A, shareholder transactions and strategic initiatives, including the fintech’s expansion into the US.
Prior to OakNorth, Jules spent 15 years in Goldman Sachs’ Financial Institutions Group, advising and financing banks across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Based in London, he will oversee Raisin UK’s next phase of growth in the savings market and lead the establishment of its new London office.
Jules said: “Raisin has built a strong proposition in the UK savings market, and I’m excited to join the business at such an important point in its development.”
“There is a significant opportunity to build on the foundations already in place, further strengthen Raisin UK’s position in the market, and continue connecting savers with a broad range of savings options.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team and our partners as we take the business into its next phase of growth.”
Jules succeeds Steven Amos, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities after seven years leading Raisin UK and helping grow and scale the business.
Dr Tamaz Georgadze, chief executive and co-founder at Raisin, added: “The UK is a key market for Raisin and we see significant opportunity to continue building our presence here.
“Jules brings an exceptional combination of financial services expertise, strategic acumen, and first-hand knowledge of scaling ambitious fintech businesses, making him ideally placed to lead Raisin UK through its next phase of growth.
“We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
