Office furniture firm tables expansion in factory move

A commercial sector furniture maker plans to craft a fresh growth story after completing a factory move.

Elite Office Furniture has switched to a 300,000sq base in Goole, near Hull.

Bosses say the hub, on the outskirts of the East Yorkshire town, has bolstered the desk, chair, table and storage unit firm’s production capacity.

The site has replaced a former base in Goole’s Britannia Way, with the company buying new CNC machines.

Surplus apparatus is being auctioned, with Yorkshire, Lancashire and London-based Walker Singleton supporting the sale of more than 300 lots.
