ClickThrough appoints managing director duo

Lichfield-based independent marketing agency ClickThrough has appointed two managing directors as it invests in new capabilities and enters its next stage of growth.

Hannah Ainsworth has been appointed managing director, strategy and growth, while Robyn Sinclair becomes managing director, client and business operations.

Hannah joined ClickThrough in January as director of strategy and performance and has since led the development of its strategic proposition, measurement capabilities and approach to growth strategy.

She said: “The opportunity for agencies is now much bigger than simply being good at delivering individual channels.

“Marketing teams are surrounded by data, dashboards and competing versions of the truth.

“What they need is clarity: where growth is actually coming from, what is working, what isn’t and where the next best pound should go.

“ClickThrough’s 22-year commitment to truth in marketing positions us brilliantly to combine strong specialist execution with the strategy, technology and intelligence clients need to make better decisions.”

Robyn joined in December 2025 as director of client partnerships and will now take additional responsibility for agency operations and client delivery.

Robyn added: “Great client experience has to sit at the heart of the growth.

“As we evolve the business, my focus is making sure clients feel the benefit of that change in the way we work with them every day – through stronger relationships, better collaboration and consistently high standards of delivery.

“The ambition is to grow ClickThrough in a way that strengthens the client experience at the same time.

“We have always been a very client-centric business, and that will remain central to how we evolve.”

The newly created roles come as ClickThrough broadens its offering beyond channel delivery, with increased investment in strategy, proprietary technology, marketing intelligence and data-led decision-making.

Founded in 2004, the agency also provides services across paid media, SEO, content, digital PR, conversion rate optimisation and performance marketing.

ClickThrough is preparing to roll out its refreshed proposition alongside a new brand and website over the coming weeks.

Phil Robinson, chief executive of ClickThrough, said: “ClickThrough has been built around helping clients find what’s true, then make better decisions, but the marketing landscape has become significantly more complex.

“Our clients are dealing with more data, more channels, more technology and more pressure to prove the value of every pound they spend.

“Our job is to help cut through that complexity and give them the confidence to make bolder, better-informed decisions.

“These appointments give us the leadership structure we need for that next phase of the business.

“We are not trying to become something completely different.

“This is about building on what ClickThrough has always been good at and making it more valuable for the challenges clients face now.

“We have spent 22 years building deep expertise.

“The next step is connecting that expertise with better strategic thinking, better technology and a much clearer view of what is driving growth for our clients.”
